A closed-loop control mode where the trimmer tunes its own settings in real time based on vision feedback from finished flower.
Glossary
Autopilot is a closed-loop operating mode for an intelligent trimmer. The vision system continuously reads finished flower coming off the line and feeds that grade data back into the machine, which adjusts dwell, feed rate, and other settings on its own to hold the target quality band.
In a conventional line, output drifts as cultivar, moisture, and feed change through the shift. Autopilot removes the drift by running a control loop faster than any human can, holding the machine inside the sweet-spot band batch by batch.
Autopilot is where the 50/50 rule finally tips. The process discipline that used to require a highly trained operator now lives inside the machine.
